@pcambra but when you want to create a structure that goes a bit deeper you need other plates as well. So that seems to be a suitable alternative if you never change the ground because a house covers the space.

It's set up on a model 3 B with a USB logitech webcam, and a fresh install of RP OS. So far it's running OK, but the calibration is weird, I'll have to try again tomorrow since it's dark here now.
