DHH ranting about entitled petulant users is the irony of the month

@pcambra I think I tried html_title some years ago. It wound up displaying HTML in the content overview page title field, and interfered with the ability to search and sort nodes in the content overview view.

@fgm @rodricels this reflection interests me a lot, at what point does the event and association exist merely to support the association and the event rather than to support the project mission.

@pcambra to be honest, I’ve never really understood there desire for a “glitzy” event. It just isn’t needed. We spend too much money on the things that don’t matter.

@greg_harvey @codeenigma Portland was just short of 1400 attendees, looking at this progression https://www.drupal.org/association/drupalcon/locations I can't imagine how many people will be at BCN :(

@pcambra More context:
- Prague 2014: 400€ earlybird and 575€ on site.
- Barcelona 2015: 544,5€ earlybird and 786,5€ on site.

This stupid progression will result in having to spend an entire salary per person/worker to attend an event that is less and less interesting, with less community presence and more focused on companies presenting their successes and seeing each other's faces.
